Stark DD reschedules October Governance meeting
Canton, OH — The regular October meeting of the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities has been rescheduled from Tuesday, October 27, 2026, to Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting has been rescheduled to allow the Board to comply with the statutory requirement to review and render a final decision regarding an administrative hearing. The Board is required to issue its decision within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Hearing Officer’s Report.
The Board will convene and enter into executive session for the purpose of reviewing information that is confidential and exempt from public disclosure under applicable state and federal law. Following executive session, the Board will reconvene in open session and take any action necessary regarding the matter.
The meeting is open to the public. Additionally, viewers can watch the meeting livestream through the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities Facebook page at www.facebook.com/StarkDD.
Due to this change in the Governance Board meeting schedule, the October Finance and Personnel committee meetings have been canceled.
