On Sunday, August 30, A Kid Again is hosting their Capes & Crowns Walk and Family Fun Fest in Jackson Township. Not only will this be a cost-free Adventure for their enrolled families, but also bring together families, community members, and local businesses in a meaningful way to help raise money for future Adventures! Our day will kick off with a short, accessible walk for our families and end at a family fun fest which will include:
- A Touch-A-Truck are with firetruck, police cruiser, construction vehicles, MATOR from Cars & more!
- Meet & Greets with Rapunzel, Moana, Spiderman and SpiderGwen
- Story time with other princesses & superheroes
- Food from The Frosty Gator food truck
- Access to the inclusive playground onsite
- AND MORE!
A Kid Again is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local families raising children with life-threatening conditions. Throughout the year, we host fully funded “Adventures” that give families a break from hospital stays, treatments, and appointments, creating space for connection, joy, and community. In addition to these experiences, we provide practical support to help families navigate the many challenges that come with a serious diagnosis.
