Set the Stage for the Season: Advocacy & Tools for a Meaningful Holiday

Together, we’ll discuss ways to prepare for seasonal transitions and gatherings, strengthen communication with family, friends, and support teams, and use advocacy tools to reduce stress and promote inclusion.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this interactive three-part session, we’ll cover:

Part 1 – Life Trajectory: Mapping your family’s goals and vision for the season

Part 2 – One-Page Profile: Capturing what’s most important to and for your family member

Part 3 – Social Story: Creating personalized stories and routines for holiday gatherings, including Thanksgiving

Advocacy in Action: Using these tools to communicate needs and promote understanding

Materials will be emailed to registrants in advance so you can participate, follow along, and use the tools yourself in real time.
